Each chapter focuses on particular moments of Saira's journey and are divided with time skips. The game follows key notions useful in terms of character development:
Pursuing the four aims of Purushartha - Each chapter when Saira unlocks a new Chant focuses on a particular principle dictated by the Purushartha. When she decides to leave her hometown, she is now working toward her Dharma, as her journey will what will help her understand her true purpose in life. During Chapter 2, her confrontation with Trisha makes her realize how much valuable it is for her to be able to see the good things she can do with her power and how much it is fulfilling to her, thus finding her Artha. On Chapter 5, she is overwhelmed with everything happening and the diverse feelings she can experience, but at the end, she has a clear view of what her Kama, her desire, is, but she will never forget what she has learned before. Finally, on Chapter 6, Saira can feel the greatnest of her journey and, when freeing Narada's soul, see the result of what she has learned so far. From now on, Saira will be on a clear path toward Moksha for the rest of her life.
Finding you real potential - Intermediate chapters focus more on the understanding of Saira's power. Each time, she realizes what she is able to do (or not), how much she has learned and how great it is to be helped by others. At the end of her journey, Saira is not afraid of using her power anymore, as she now understands what she can do with it and how she can help people. Chapter 6 makes an important emphasis on the strength and the grace of Saira's Chants.
Learning from others, teaching to others - Each person Saira meets during her journey will bring a different stone to Saira's growth. Despite their differences of background and personality, they will all learn from each other and have new insights on their own struggles and questions in life. When Saira sees someone again later on, she will realize the impact she had on them and put into perspective what they have taught to her. At the end of the game, she will finally see Narada's soul, the one who has been guiding her with his poem, and by helping him reach Moksha, Saira will be sharing what she has learned to him, to same way he indirectly helped Saira growing during her journey.
The game begins with an introduction sequence explaining the creation of the world by the Devas and the importance of powers. Then, Saira is seen walking in the streets of Madhyahet, her hometown. She then arrives at her house and is greeted by her parents and her little sister, smiles and laughs brightening the room. She then enters her bedroom, not very tidy and full of books, papers with writing and trinkets she traded before.
